Having read the first book in this series, “Beyond The Great River”, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one! I love all of Author Zoe Saadia’s books. This one was even more exciting. I was amazed by the first chapter!! "The Foreigner (People of the Longhouse Book 2)" is based on historical fiction set in pre-Columbian Lake Ontario. Tribal conflicts abound. The author did a lot of research and brought this story to life. I’m not one to give out spoilers, but if you like action, adventure, political intrigue, betrayal, love…you will want to read this one. I highly recommend!

Being a history buff, and a Political Science major many " moons ago" I thoroughly enjoyed the research the author had to have gone through to explain so concisely the political, as well as daily life and structural beliefs of the 5 Leagues of the Iroquois. A good read,very well done!
...as much as all of the previous books and will continue to read the next one and the next after. You have me hooked.
