This series is seriously addictive. Once I finished My Wolf's Bane, I knew I'd have to continue Autumn and Zack's journey, and I'm glad I did. Wolves at the Door picks up almost immediately where book one ends. Honestly, I think I even liked this one a little better than the first, but that's a tiny, tiny distinction because they were both fabulous books.

Veronica has created a world that is unique and tantalizing with more twists and turns than a country road, and I'll continue to follow the adventures of Autumn and Zack while patiently waiting to see if any of the other characters get a spin-off!

This tale has a decent story being told of a young couple finding out about how life can be when your raised with protective deceit for your own safety even if it is dragged on longer than it should be so it can corrupt your own thoughts of truth in life. it has good.ending with much to think about in their futures
Autumn and Zack are so good together but it seem everything is against them. This series is amazing I couldn't put the book down. The story is full of excitement, danger and twits and turns. I don't like giving the story up for the potential readers but all I can say u won't regret purchasing the book. The way veronica writes makes u feel like you are in the story like is part of you. Love it I highly recommend it.
Whoah! I loved My Wolf’s Bane but this one is ever better. More suspense, more action. And I like the surprise or two along the way that the author throws. Can’t wait to start Dead Wolf Walking!
Their forbidden love could cost them their lives. Zack and Autumn are in love but if its known they could be killed. They kill Zacks watcher. They know they will have to be very careful now. Zack knows that someone is stalking them. They find out that its Zacks watcher. They did not kill him after all. He is out to kill them both now. Need to buy the book to find out what happens next. Will the watcher be successful in killing them? Will Autumn lose Zack to an old prophecy? Can they be a couple and make a life for themselves? Or will they break up and go their separate ways? Great story. Will buy the next one in the series to find out what happens.
After reading the first book, I was hooked. I just had to know what was going to happen to Zack and Autumn. I had some ideas about Autumn’s parents and Zack’s father but not sure if I was right or not. Some of my ideas were right and others are still not answered but I am not going to tell you the answers because I do not want to spoil the story for you. I am holding my breath waiting for part 3. I know that there are 2 short back stories and I started one of them but stopped because I was too caught up wondering where Zack and Autumn’s story was going.

So if you are looking for a good story with just a touch of mystery, this is the story for you. I could have done with less teenage angst. But then it is a story about teenagers and knowing them, they are so full of drama that makes it is a very true to life. I loved how Ms. Blade played with the shape-shifters and werewolves with theories and traits. She brought a new dimension to the age-old beings and that is always so refreshing.
I am not just reviewing this book but the entire series so far. To love a werewolf has its dangerous moments of course. The danger is even higher is one day you found out that you yourself were a shapeshifter and could turn into any animal one would want to. Amazing right! Not so much in the world that Autumn and her man/werewolf crush, Zach. The werewolf King insists that all werewolf have to go into service for him at the age of eighteen but he is giving Zach extra time to graduate and spend time with his mother who is slowly dying from an autoimmune disorder. A true romeo and Juliet story with a paranormal twist. Shapeshifters are used as slaves by the were-wolfs or they are executed and it is strictly forbidden that werewolf have any contact with shapeshifters. Zach could be executed for the love that he feels for Autumn and now they are trying to figure out how to slip away from the small town they live in before they are found out. Will their love survive and what about Autumns parents and the HUGE secret they are keeping from her. Good series to get lost in. Can not wait to finish it off.
This story takes place immediately following Book One My Wolf's Bane ending, with Autumn and Zack agreeing to date and Charles waiting for Zack to finish high school before taking him to the werewolf King. While sad that Zack will be leaving, Autumn loves being his girlfriend, despite the insecurities Gina puts in her mind about what Gina and Zack did when they were together. Two new characters show up, Renzo and his niece Alura who seem to be watching Zack and Autumn and being too inquisitive. After fighting with Charles, Autumn and Zack feel they need to break up to keep each other safe and end up making themselves insecure about their relationship while playing their parts convincingly. Zack gets together with Gina for a science project and Cameron, a nice boy from school puts the moves on the now free Autumn. Both make each other too jealous and hurt while supposedly broken up. But it all ends with everyone getting what they deserve.
If you are an Autumn and Zack fan you won't be disappointed. Can't wait for book #3.
